Andrew Thorell is an aspiring film composer and music student at Jessup University, where he is pursuing a degree in music with a concentration in commercial music and a focus on composition, orchestration, and MIDI sequencing.
Passionate about storytelling through music, Andrew creates scores for film, television, and video games that enhance emotion, pacing, and character development. Drawing inspiration from composers such as Steve Jablonsky, Bear McCreary, Brian Tyler, and Hans Zimmer, he combines orchestral and modern scoring techniques to develop a versatile musical style.
His work includes student films, original compositions, and rescored film scenes, with an emphasis on strong thematic writing and collaborative creativity.
